【Controller-Receiver RZ016A】It’s the main controller, which is connected to the load whose input/output are DC12-24V. The RZ016A turns On/Off the load by pressing the button or by receiving the wireless signal from the motion sensor(RZ016W).
【Wireless Motion Sensor-Emitter RZ016W】It’s a Motion sensor and a wireless emitter powered by 2pcs AAA(not included batteries). It can detect movement by detecting Infrared ray emitted by human body. When it detects motion, it will give out a RF signal to the main controller RZ016A to turn on/off the sensor.
【Multi-Function Mode】You can adjust the 3 Mode(Auto,On,off) /Time-delay (15s, 30s, 60s, 180s, 300s, 900s) and Light Level (20% -100%)through the buttons of the RZ016A.You can also adjust Light Sensor through RZ016W.If the light sensor is ON:the lux value default setting is 35Lux. The sensor will only detect motion when the ambient brightness is≤35Lux.If the light sensor is OFF:the sensor will detect motion all the time. You can switch it anytime according to your needs.
【Long Life and Signal Strength】Uses 2pcs AAA batteries, the duration time can be at least for 1 year based on the Ultra-Low-Power technology.Strong signal and detection distance: 5-8 meters.
【Wide Application】Widely used to control LED strips, etc. For your stairs, living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms.

    Great find
Found the item as a review of another product. Works great for stair led motion sensing lights. Set and forget type device.

Couldn’t be happier with thie functionality
I used this as part of a led strip lighting solution for underneath the kitchen cabinets. This works perfectly, because now when somebody walks into the kitchen the lights go on on their own and the biggest winner is – no wires for the sensors!

Works, but with a few drawbacks
First, I will say that these work. They reliably turn on the LED strip that I have them connected to. The sensors & controller are sufficiently small to be placed out of the way and to be barely noticeable. Having said that, there are a few issues to be aware of. First, the controller has a 5.5mm DC jack that connects it to your 12v power supply (typical), but then it comes with a 2.5mm DC jack to connect to whatever you’re trying to turn on/off. This makes it extremely limited in what you can plug it into unless you plan to buy the appropriate adapter separately. I was able to disassemble the controller and solder in my own compatible connector, and voila… it attaches to my led strip just fine now.Secondly, the instructions for the sensors don’t tell you a thing about what the leds are doing/should be doing for different settings! I have no idea if the light sensor is on or off when I press/hold the button. The leds flash a few times when changing the settings, and it’s impossible to tell which is which without knowing what the different number and/or color of flashes mean (there’s a red led and an orange led in each sensor)! It should be possible to gradually figure out through trial & error, but it definitely shouldn’t come that way!Third, the light sensitivity on these are almost non-existent! If the sensor is on (stopping motion triggers during daylight hours), it has to be extremely bright, intense light for it to work properly! I’ve tried it in full sun and under an extremely bright led and it was still able to trigger the motion sensor! As I mentioned before, you can toggle the on/off setting for the light sensor, but you’ll still have no idea which setting it’s on because it triggers while in both! The sensors use a phototransistor in the circuit, but then they cover the sensor with the PIR lens and a tightly closed case, meaning almost NO LIGHT can get it to the light sensor! I think a photo diode placed closer to an opening may have been a better option. Lastly, these are crazy expensive for what you get! While they do look nice/professional, the same thing could be made yourself if you are so technically inclined! If I were to need these again for some reason, I probably would look for a different product.

    Works great
I was looking for something to make the LED light rope I have on my stairs motion activated, and this worked perfectly. My stairs have a landing in the middle and wrap around so I needed two sensors, one at the top and one at the bottom to work the lights. This plugged in and worked right away. Highly recommend.

    This saved me $100’s!! GENIUS
I was trying to find a motion activated solution for my stairs, and everything I found was using a smart home hub with smart sensors and proprietary leds. till I found this!!! No need for any smart home ecosystem, it just wrks with any LED strip you like, and the options are pretty nice, of course they’re less programmable, but it’s pretty much all you need. Can’t believe how much money (and Time) I saved!

    Want to love them, but…
I really love the idea for the sensors. The two individual light motion sensors are great. Unfortunately the light sensors seem NOT to work as they are continually triggered by motion regardless of how much light is shining on them. I want to love them, but I don’t want my lights to be turned on when there’s full sunshine coming in from the windows as seen on the image. Do these really have light sensors in them? I see that this is an issue many people have. I’ll give them a three for now and perhaps the manufacturer will shine some light (pun intended).

the module is much smaller than expected, very easy to program and change settings

These sensors are a must because who wants to be controlling these leds on with a switch everytime. Automatically sensing motion is the only way to go. Just wish there where more options for cordless sensors and controllers.
