    Works as advertised.
Bought one for myself and one for my parents. I have mine set up in my bedroom when I walk in a corner lamp turns on. The sensor is on the floor and so far no false on’s if I’m sleeping in bed and the blankets moving around. (Good thing.) At my parents I have it set up at the bottom of a stair case when my stepdads goes downstairs to a dad basement to stoke the fireplace the lamp turns on. So far so good!

    Works fantastic but…
I use this outdoors in my carport. I have some LED lights that I plug into it, and a day night sensor (typically used for chicken light applications). The day night sensor only energizes this in the evenings. So when I drive my vehicle home, the lights come on in the carport automatically. I love the way you can remotely mount the sensor! It does a fantastic job, and works for a long time with no issues. But.If there’s a lightning storm in the area, there’s a good chance that this thing will overload. I don’t know what fails each time, but I’ve had three of these over the last 5 years. They are inexpensive, and I just chalk it up as a cost of using an indoor product outdoors. I wish they made a more durable version. I really love this product.

Stopped turning off after a month or so
Bought 2 of these for garage lights. One of them stopped working and will not turn off. The sensor can only be mounted upright to the wall – I wish it is mountable upside down as well.

    Works great
It functions as described. I have 3 of them attached to table lamps and timer was set at one minute so after I left the room the lights went off after a minute. Since it is a motion sensor light you have to turn the lights off during the day otherwise they will turn on whenever the motion is detected. Some people got confused with night motion sensor lights and complained that they turned on during the day and thought they were malfunctioning.

    Great product
Works even better than I thought it would. Great for entering a dark room where the light switch is not right by the door.

    Very Unreliable
There are a few things you should know about this motion sensor before you buy it.1. It does not have a light sensor so it will turn on the plugged in load day or night. So if you don’t want your lights to turn on with motion during the daytime when lights are not needed, this will not work for you. It will waste energy by turning on the lights automatically when lights are not needed2. It is very sensitive and turns on when there is no motion and can stay on way longer than the setting you selected (e.g. 1 minute). I installed one of these in my garage and one in a hallway coat closet. In each location there is a LED strip light connected to the motion sensor. In the garage, the LED strip turns on all day long even though there is no one in the garage. I observed the recorded videos from a garage camera and the light strip turns on at least once per 30 minute interval and then turns off several minutes later. It does this day and night when no one is in the garage. I tried installing the motion sensor in different locations on the garage wall from 2 feet from the ground to 6 feet from the ground. The height did not stop the light from turning on when no one was in the garage. I have several other motion sensors in the garage controlling other lights and they do not turn on unless someone is in the garage near the sensor. Again, I watched the behavior of this motion sensor on the recorded camera video for several days.3. The motion sensor I installed in the coat closet worked great at turning on the LED light when the door was opened and it detected a person. But when the door was closed with the motion sensor inside the closet it did not turn off the light at the specified time period. I set the turn off time to 1 minute and sometimes it would take 10 minutes to turn off the light. I suspect that because the LED light strip casted light on the motion sensor it interpreted the light as motion somehow. So I lowered the motion sensor to 2 feet off the ground and shielded it from the LED light strip. It then worked reliably. The motion sensors performed so poorly that I thought the first two I ordered were defective and exchanged them. The replacement motion sensors behaved exactly the same.

    Simple and reliable.
I prefer these wired motion sensors due to their simplicity. Wireless ones that require cell phones apps make it unnecessarily complicated. I just want a lamp to turn on when I want the room. Plug these in and you got that. I’ve used one for several years in my garage; I liked so much I bought two more.

Perfect for my office heatlamp application
These seem to be solid, good quality units. I thought it would be nice to have a little heat dish sitting on the floor in my office just magically turn on as I approach, and that’s what I’ve now got. The timeout settings are well thought out to handle about any need. It defaults to the shortest timeout, 4 secs, so you need to just twist that to a few minutes and it becomes motion sensor timeout perfection.
