Lasts a long time on one charge and can be used anywhere in the house/apartment
I did a quick review of this product to help anyone here looking through the reviews. My wife and I have this currently in our master bathroom since the normal ceiling light shines into the bedroom and the light switch is on the outside of the bathroom. We haven’t installed it with the metal plates just yet, because we wanted to try it in a couple of different places (check images) to see if we want to buy more. So far the velcro command strips are holding the light really well. We got this light back in April, it is now almost July and we still haven’t had to recharge it. I do recommend charging it once out of the package as the battery could drain while sitting in the warehouse and during shipping. Overall my wife and I really love this product and will recommend it to family and friends.

    Does now hold a charge
We’ve been using these for a few month under the cabinets in the kitchen. They do not hold a charge all day, although we use our kitchen frequently because someone is usually home. The light dims very quickly. Would not recommend.

    They work, kind of
I wanted to like these lights, but they are just not that good. I had to glue and clamp half of the metal pads after they failed. I used them, because I did not want to drill holes in the bottom of my new cabinets. I put the pads on and let them set for 24 hours, + the number of hours for charging the lights, 2 at a time. I bought 7 lights, silly me. I could have overlooked this problem had the motion sensor and the always on feature worked. I observed the lights going off and on from outside the kitchen. So, this feature is worthless. Maybe they will work in a complete dark environment like a closet. We’ll see. Here are the good vs. bad. I would not recommend these lights. 2 stars, because they could have been good.I would recommend that if you are getting new cabinets, have the wiring done for lighting, even if you are not planning on installing them. You may decide to after the fact, so save yourself some time and do it during installation. It will not cost that much.Good -1. They were delivered on time.2. 3 levels of light color.3. They are dimmable.Bad -1. The adhesive for the metal pads is not strong enough to hold the lights.2. The motion detector is a mess, causing the lights to randomly cycle on/off.3. The always on feature does not work.4. The lights take at least 5 hours to charge.5. The charge doesn’t really last that long, maybe 4-5 hours, about the same as the charging time.

    Bright Light
I liked the lamp. Problem with motion activation. Turns on for about 30 seconds, turns off and immediately turns back on without any movement in the room. This continues until I turn it completely off at the switch. The original fixed itself. Working as expected. Just ordered two more two-packs. Delivery said Thursday, 10-28. When I checked the order delivery date is now November 25. Forget that. Canceled the order.

Works as it should, good option for where you can’t easily run cords
We had gotten a bunch of similar lights for under our kitchen counters and loved them.We wanted something for our dark liquor cabinet but without drilling a hole or something there wasn’t a way to run a power cord. This solved it!Works as it should! Color can be set using the slider and there’s an option for auto mode. The motion sensor is good and detects hand waves so plus keeps the light on a decent amount of time without worrying about it being left on, so we just went with that. We kept the medium color… the others are bluer or more yellow.Charge must last awhile…we haven’t needed to recharge it in the 6 or so weeks since installing it. Its attached magnetically though so it’ll be easy to pull off and it uses a pretty common shaped charger (USB micro I think?) so I’m not too concerned.Good solution for wireless.

    GREAT LIGHT
This is a great motion sensor light for under/over a bed, in a closet, hallway or any other place that a motion sensor light is needed. It worked as indicated, is wireless and the batteries are charged though a USB cable. The light is adjustable and can operate as a motion sensor light or steady light; your choice. This is a great nightlight for night time bathroom trips for kids or seniors – no waking sleeping partners or falling over things not seen in the dark. This light has so many uses, everyone can benefit from it. I highly recommend.

    Convenient but a few considerations
This was really easy to set up decent quality light. I have tried other brands of under-cabinet lights and have always seemed to have issues of one sort or the other with them. I don’t see why in this day and age something like this cannot be perfected at a reasonable price. This one also has a few issues. The motion sensor does not work as well as I’d like it to, does not consistently turn the light on when there is movement even when near it. Perhaps we were too close? I could not find a consistent movement that would always turn it on or not work, so I don’t think it’s user error.Battery life is outstanding and that’s during our trial test to try and figure out why it wasn’t turning on as often with movement. So maybe we got a dud but I liked most other parts of this light- it’s well-built. It was a little heavy for the 3M tape so we tried screwed in magnets and that seemed to work the best.

Does not hold a charge long, and after a few months, does not hold a charge at all
I wanted to like this. Unlike some reviewers, I did not have trouble installing it, and liked the magnets to hold it up. The trouble is that it ran out of charge in less than a week. Perhaps it can only be inside a closet, where nothing can activate it at all until the door opens. However, even then, it should recharge and work. However, after a few months, it wouldn’t hold a charge for more than a few minutes. It’s after the return period, but I thought the one-year warranty to would work. However, you have to send it back to the manufacturer, and given the cost of shipping, it’s not worth it. Plus, they only send you another one, and I don’t want another one, as bad as this is. I want my money back. So be warned, you can’t depend on the warranty.
