Love these lights
I’ve got these up on the front of my garage. I love the motion sensors, love that it’s not blinding light. I live pretty rural, and any kind of light really goes a long way…like they notice it 4 streets over, there are just so few houses.Anyway, the housing has plenty of room for the wires and wire nuts. It’s a very simple install, and I think they look great. Highly recommend.

Nice looking set of automatic porch lights
I have wanted motion sensing porch lights for a long time, and these had an attractive design that I liked.Installation was relatively straightforward as a replacement for an existing set of lights. I do have to note, however, that out of the box, my two lights were set to different operational settings. I did not want to use the default, though, so I have them set to just do the full on/off (not dimming) setting. I mainly did this because I am using these lights with non-dimmable outdoor rated LED lights, and so the automatic full on/off option works perfectly.Now, I never have to fumble with my keys trying to find the keyhole on my front door at night from forgetting to turn on the porch lights. I’ve been using them for about a month at the time of this review, and the operation of the motion sensors has been quite reliable.The only reason I haven’t given them 5 stars, though, is the fact that there is no sensitivity setting for the motion sensors, like most other motion sensing light fixtures will have. And, in my use case, I find that the motion sensors are actually too sensitive. My front door is roughly 35 feet away from the street, and the porch lights are activated by cars driving by on the road, so I wish I could reduce the sensitivity to only turn on when people approach on the sidewalk leading up to my front door.

Great purchase especially for the price. Came well packaged which i was worried about with so much glass. The instructions were minimal but exactly what I needed to install it myself. Easy install and took very little time.

Popular modern porch light style with full featured motion sensor and rainfall glass
This is a popular style of light, if you’re wanting to update your porch and are unsure what style of light to get this is a safe popular choice.construction quality i find comparable or better with better style and features (water style glass, full featured motion) and price per pair than store brands from local big retailers. The size is perfect for most houses without being overly large nor does it disappoint upon opening the box size wise (no surprise tiny light from big pictures here).I’ve included some pictures and video so you can see the glass and powder coating and mounting in bright sunlight. Other reviews have done a good job showing the light lit up, keep in mind this is non integrated bulb meaning you provide the bulb. That’s good as you can select the color/kelvin (warm, cool white,etc and even replace with holiday bulbs on occasion). Due to that different reviews will show different color and brightness depending on the bulb they chose. This also means when the bulb dies you do not need to replace the whole fixture just the bulb.Since this is an open fixture any led bulb should suffice, some do require open fixtures for cooling, that’s not a concern here.These style fixtures can be a challenge for OCD types, since they hang off a pivot point as well as stick out from the wall they can be slightly off on two planes from the front and the side depending on the care taken when installing and the mounting box and flatness of the wall. The mount ring flexibility can usually solve most of this. Also notice, the part that hangs to the wall is attached to the light fixture as opposed to hanging out a ways, this should prevent any sort of issue with the light getting off center from the mounting portion by spinning,etc, it’s screwed solidly from the back.This light has manual override. i can’t count the number of lights i ordered and forgot to check for this. You can flip the switch twice and enter an always on mode (for when you’re doing stuff outside and need light). Always check for this because i put eave lights all around my house way up too only to find out i can’t override! Nightlight mode is nice with an ambient light until motion is detected.Finish durability should be similar to others i’ve experienced seeing that it’s powdered coated aluminum. I did test with a magnet and for the most part this is true, i was able to attach to the part right below the sensor and above the light box, and the cap, this may also be due to internals (socket fixture, mounting screw,etc) but the important outside glass finish part is non magnetic as well as the mount.This is going to update an old fixture I have nicely with a modern style.
